Don't you just love Mft? I do. I also love MJ Albright. I just won the new set, "What's Up Cupcake" from her.Well, she picked my name randomly, not like singled me out or anything, but you know what I mean! I just got this set today, along with Rain or Shine and You Take The Cake. That brings my Mft stamp ownership to 9 sets. Not including the one I won, plus I ordered What's the Scoop and Meet Me At The Cafe'.Alot went into this card. I paper-peiced using my Sugared 6x6 paperpad and sketched out a sidewalk{thanks Kendra Giles} and colored that and the sky and grass with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I added her hat from the Can Ya Dig It? girl. I cased Mj on that! I added rhinestones to her and the dogs collar. The leash is silver cording. How Sweet It is...

Is this set Not adorable?!?In addition to my love of all things PTI, I also love My Favorite Things. I currently own 6 sets. I just ordered 3 more. I cant wait to recieve those! Anyways, I used my How Sweet It is set.I wish I could relax in a chair with some yummy chocolates! I love these "lady" sets because I can coordinate her outfits or accessories to match my cards because the images are so perfect for paper-piecing.I pieced her chair with paper from my BasicGrey Sugared 6x6 pad. The floral paper is also Sugared, only a 12x12 piece.I added some wide pink grosgrain and added a buckle from my pewter Hph.The shine is K&CO. crystals. It's A Celebration

I absolutely love PTI! I chose to use my It's A Celebration set. I also love their cardstock, ribbon and ink! I made a double window card with acetate on the inside. I first cut and embossed a window on my lemon tart cs with my square nestabilitie, then cut and embossed a smaller square on summer sunrise cardstock. I adhered that inside with crystal effects. That stuff sticks like glue!Lol! I cut a smaller piece of acetate and stamped the celebrate sentiment and added the stars on each side. I added some stardust stickles to the stars. So cute. I had to use my jet black staz-on for the acetate. Palette didnt work. Like it A Latte!

I absolutely adore MFT stamps. I think they are so much fun to work with, especially paper-peicing. I took my new set, Hot Stuff and paired it with my BasicGrey Sugared paper pad. The dress and the cups are all peiced with the various papers. I cut her out and layered her on cs and the again on a square nestability. I love pink and brown together. Featured Stamper..Me?!?

I cannot believe it but I was chosen as Featured Stamper today on SCS. What an honor! I did not find out about this until this afternoon as we had computer problems and I was not able to go online. Needless to say I have left a ton of comments and I am wore out. Everyone did a super job caseing my cards.Thanks to all who played today. Onto the card. I made this for my 6 yo daughter who had a b-day party to go to. This is for a 6 year old boy, so hopefully he wont just glance at this and toss it aside!I used my Lizzie Anne Designs Cowboy stamp and the sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms. TLC162 Cupcake Heaven

I did this card for the challenge over at SCS on Monday. It was learning Paper-tole, which I had never heard of before. Its basically layering your image repeatedly. I can do that! I thought an awning over them would be cute since they look like they are sitting in a bakery window. Card for Gramma!

Hello! I made this card for my Gramma who is not doing too well. She has had Lupus for 18 years and various other issues. I know from my Anatomy& Physiology, Lupus patients dont usually live for more than 10 years after diagnosis. She is beyond that. But I have the comfort of knowing we will spend eternity together in Heaven.Anyways, on to the card. I kept it fairly simple. I know its trendy right now to have tons of layers and stuff, I do like that and think its col, but I also like simple, but elegant. This card says "Grandma" to me. The patterned paper is great, isnt it? I love it!I used my new Blooming With Love stamp set from SU! . I watercolored with inks and its hard to see, but I put Crystal Effects on the green leaves of th topiary and on the tulip and leaves. Also, its covering the "miss you" layer. Over all, I think its a way cute, simple card. I am pleased with it. Gramma will love it, too. Mojo Monday My Way!

I decided to try {Verve Visual's} Julee Tilman Mojo Monday sketch this week. You can find that here.  I love her work, but I sadly do not own any sets. My dh just got laid off so no stamp buying for awhile. Not that I want to. My mortgage is more important!!Anyways~ here I used SU! new Live Your Dream stamp set, from the Occasions Mini catalog. The dp is the gorgeous Afternoon Tea, which is coordinating!I took the card colors from the dp, which are Chocolate Chip, Groovy Guava, Very Vanilla and Wild Wasabi{yuck!} I chose to omit the Wild Wasabi! I have all the SU! inks, but wanted a softer look so I grabbed my VersaMagic dewdrops in Pink Grapefruit, Sahara Sand and Tea Leaves. I love chalk ink. The ribbon is my dearly beloved Groovy Guava double stitched ribbon. I have all 6 in-color ribbons, but I just now, in 1 day, opened 3 of them! I am a self proclaimed ribbon hoarder. I cant part with it. Anyways, thats my stab at her sketch. Hope you like it!Thanks for stopping by!

River Rock and Black Solitude...

Hi everyone! I feel like its been months since I have posted. Oh wait, it has! We have been through one thing or another lately. My baby was sick, then hospitalized. That was so tough. She was so sick. Now we are going through some more serious stuff, I feel so stressed! Plus,with the baby being sick, my studies were falling behind. Good thing my Anatomy professor is a pastor. He has been letting me make things up as I need to. College is hard. LOL! Anyways, this is a card I did last week for the scs color challenge. Basic Black, River Rock and white. I used my new Spring Solitude hostess set{Level 2~ email me to place an order!} The white strip isnt dp, its just plain white paper using my Polka Dot bg stamp from SU! I used my petite scalloped and small circle nestibilities to make the main part. I cut out the branch and popped it up on dimensionals.I added a ton of stardust stickles to the main images. Also~ I used white ep on the wheeled image. The jumbo eyelets were pewter, but I needed black so I smashed them into my Palette Noir pad to darken them.Well, thanks for looking, I will be sure to get more up as I have a ton to post. Hello! I used my Embrace Life set again last night. I love this set. I paper pieced the blooms from the single stem stamp. I used the same dp.I also used the scallop punch trick on blog Beauty Lies Within , the one where you punch with the scallop, then turn it so you get a more pointy edge.
